We try Lombok's famous Ayam Bakar Taliwang for the first time whilst exploring Denpasar! Denpasar is the capital of Bali, Indonesia. We drive around and try out some Lombok cuisine in the form of Ayam Bakar Taliwang Baru and their amazing lombokian sambal. We also check out the gorgeous Bajra Sandhi Monument and the local scene there, plus a bit of a drive around Denpasar to survey the daily life in this community. The Ayam Bakar Taliwang, Ayam Sambal Matah, Plecing Kangkung, Sate Pusut, Sate Rempela, Lombok Sambal & Es Jeruk Kelapa were highlights of the trip and totally knocked our socks off!
