Our Every Last Child campaign
The world has made incredible progress for children: in 1990, 12 million children a year were dying before they were five years old. Now, that figure has come down to 5.9 million.
But that progress hasn’t been fair. These last children are being forgotten and discriminated against.
They’re the children you never hear from: forgotten because they live on the streets, in camps or remote villages; discriminated against because of their gender, ethnicity or a disability. They’re being pushed further into poverty.
It’s these children we must reach now. We’re more determined than ever to reach the most vulnerable children with what they need: life-saving healthcare and education. Let’s help every last child survive and learn.
