Nothing says “thank you for coming over” like a stained bathroom sink. And nothing stains a sink like excess plumber’s putty and hard water. Although not obvious at first, over time excess putty around the drain can discolor and even stain the base of your sink around the drain. Couple that with the hard, scale-like deposit left behind when hard water evaporates, and you’ve got an unsightly mess. There are lots of recipes out there claiming easy spray on, wipe off solutions, but most of them come no where close to touching hard water stains and deposits. So I dug out some tools and some elbow grease, and thought - Let’s give it a try!
