The Australian has released Australia’s Richest 250 List, topped by mining magnate Gina Rinehart.

The Australian's Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says the list includes “usual names” as well as “up and coming females” and young entrepreneurs.

“It’s amazing how some of these young Australians have really made their mark through their entrepreneurial skills,” she told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.

“There was a lot of growth in wealth in technology and the mining sectors.”
