I took time to figure out how to do the mod on this model Genesis 3. there actually wasn't enough information to do it the way it's shown in the picture mod guides on retrorgb.com. I was able to get it figured out so that I can post this video for anybody wanting to do the mod on this model Genesis. I did fail to mention in the video that, unfortunately, because I had to leave the capacitor on the mod board I did have to drill a hole into the bottom of my case in order to fit everything in. I'm only casually familiar with most of this stuff and electronics in general so I apologize if I used any incorrect terminology anywhere. also it's worth mentioning that on the chip I removed I believe it also carries audio stuff so if you leave it in it may cause audio to be wonky. but if you're really able to figure it out I'm sure you'll know more than I do. please feel free to coment and make corrections and maybe I can make this mod better for myself and everybody else that finds this video. And one more thing, if you want, you can pass wires underneath the controller ports, there is enough room there for these small wires.
