They represent the Christian priesthood who advocate for separating themselves from the world rather than trying to fix it. The blades on the other hand, are strong in their fight against the elves and the dragons. They don't stand down. When they see injustice, they act. They are the protectors of humanity. Those are today's revolutionaries.
