In this video we will show you many century’s oldest, mysterious and deserted city called “Sleeping City” which is situated on the top of a hill the bank of deep ditches in the maze of a thick forest. This is a historical city which has a rich history. The whole houses of this city are made of stones. You will not see such city in the whole world. You can see houses, streets, bazaars, Mosques and Shrine here but you will not see any human far. This is abandoned and haunted city. There is a pond and a graveyard here. The Chilla Gah of a Sufi Saint is also present here which indicates the presence of human in this village in past. Now it is say about this city is that there live giants and witches. The land of this sleeping city is in the ownership of Government and no one has any proprietorship. But no one is ready to live here in free. This city was not settled according to a regular map but the person who got land anywhere he built a home here. There is no water for drink and nothing to eat anything in this city. The local people also come here a little bit some people say that they saw giants and witches there. What is the reality? God knows better. Due to the thick forest large numbers of snakes found here. Wild animals also live here in large numbers. Here is a 100 years old Mosque present which was constructed in 1924. Now this Mosque has been deserted. The way to reach this city is very difficult and maze and it is impossible to reach here if a local guide is not present with you. But i tell you the address. If you are coming from Lahore or Islamabad than you will travel from M2 and will exit Kallar Kahar interchange and travel 30 kilometer straight you will reach Tehsil Choa Saidan Shah of District Chakwal Punjab Pakistan. From Choa Saidan Shah to Khewra Pind Dadan Khan Road on 18 kilometer by Ratuchha village, Nali village and then you will reach Cooper village which is situated in a thick forest. Since an ancient time people were settled here and according to different traditions this village is oldest from 500 to 900 years. Earlier the people did farming here but due to the construction of salt mine and others factories in nearby city Khewra Tehsil Pind Dadan Khan of District Jhelum the people migrated and did not come back. This village has been deserted since last 50 years. In summer or winter no one can live here because there are no basic facilitate of life such as electricity, water , gas and roads for transportation. If you are adventures person and fond of travelling to forest and hills than you should must visit this beautiful and charming place. This is a peaceful place to visit.
