100 years ago in 1916 a riot named The Battle of Central Station took place.
The shootout took the life of 1 soldier and injured many more.
In the present time the only evidence of the riot is a chip/bullet hole in the marble at the entrance to the Grand Concourse (Platform 1 end).
There is more of Central station to explore such as the never completed Platforms 26 & 27 and the bell tower.
