Unboxing Motorola's Moto G30 and G10, with a full side-by-side comparison of the specs, features and camera tech. These are the first G-Series budget smartphones of 2021, with the Moto G10 costing £129 in the UK and the Moto G30 sporting a £159 asking price. Here's my hands-on review of Motorola's best affordable phones and stay tuned for an in-depth verdict.
The Motorola G30 offers several upgrades over the more basic model, including a 64MP primary camera sensor vs the G10's 48MP sensor. Besides that, it's basically the same hardware as far as the optics go, except for a superior selfie shooter. But that more pricey budget blower also boosts the performance to a Snapdragon 662 chipset, while increasing the battery charge tech from 10W to 20W.
In both cases you get a 6.5-inch IPS screen with 720p resolution. However, the Motorola Moto G30 serves up a 90Hz refresh rate, which is becoming more common amongst affordable smartphones.
So, are you tempted by that G30, or would you go for the cheaper Moto G10 mobile? My full reviews will be coming soon, and check out my coverage of the best budget phones of 2021 for more ideas. I've rounded up my favourite handsets under £200 right here, after testing dozens of affordable blowers.
