In this episode, I travel to South Africa to explore how hunting is done there. We visit Africa Wild Safaris, owned and operated by Glenn and his wife Charmaine. Joining me are my cameramen, Mat and Danielle, our guide Nico, and our tracker Keepa. Together, we venture out onto the South African savannah to find an ostrich, which we plan to cook and eat at the end of the week.
Hunting in South Africa is similar to what we have back home in Sweden in terms of morals and ethics. Here, hunting is also carefully regulated and contributes to both conservation and local communities. Even though the environment and species are different, we share the same respect and care for wildlife.
During the journey, we gain a deeper understanding of how hunting and conservation go hand in hand in South Africa and how these principles can be applied globally. I'm excited to share this experience with you!
