West Essex freshman Carmine Masi won a 6-5 ultimate tiebreaker over Parsippany Hills' Alan Devalon in the 175-pound bout of the NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 Tournament quarterfinals in North Caldwell. The Knights went on to win the match 71-3 and advance to the semifinals against Cranford.
