Alyssa Maxwell is the author of The Gilded Newport Mysteries and A Lady and Lady’s Maid Mysteries. She is celebrating her tenth year as a published mystery author, with twenty books in total at the current time. Murder at The Breakers, the first book in her Gilded Newport series and formerly a USA Bestseller, has been adapted for television by the Hallmark Mystery Channel. In addition, she was recently featured on the PBS Summer Author Series with Ann Bocock for the second year in a row. Maxwell and her husband have lived in South Florida for almost forty years, and she is active in the local fiction writing community and a member of the Florida Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America.
