How to Delete customers

Hi this is John from PaperRound and today I’ll show you how to delete a customer in Counter News

Search for the customer that needs to be deleted. There are a number of steps to take before you can delete the customer.

Firstly, the customer status needs to be changed to Inactive. Tap Edit, then tap the Status tab. Set the Customer Status as Inactive and tap the green tick to save.

Check there is no outstanding balance. It is not possible to delete a customer if the balance is outstanding. If there is an outstanding balance, process the customer’s final payment in the usual way.

To delete the customer, tap edit. Then tap the status tab. Providing the status is inactive, and there is a zero balance the Delete Customer Button will be visible. Once you have deleted a customer there is no way to get it back. If you’re sure you’d like to delete the customer, click Delete Customer, then tap the green tick to confirm.
