COCHITI PUEBLO, N.M.--At a recent partnership meeting and ceremony between the Albuquerque District Army Corps of Engineers and the Pueblo de Cochiti (NM), the Corps relinquished land acquired during the construction of Cochiti Dam more than fifty years ago.
During the construction of the dam, the Corps acquired the land for easements. Now it was determined that land in excess and it is longer needed by the Corps.
