For over 35 years Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program has been helping Suffolk County townships with their shellfish resource enhancement projects. Cornell Marine Program hatchery supplies them with seed and research based information. Also, Cornell Marine Program helps baymen and those who want to learn about Aquaculture (SPAT), help them with their Oyster growing business, whether it's to help them get started or enhance and support existing business.
