Louis arrives at 10.02.04 with fish number two, a headless whopper trout. It's an interesting orangey-gold colour on the outside, or maybe it's the light, or maybe it's not a trout. All three chicks and their mum are waiting, Aila stands back and lets the chicks work out who gets it. It's Captain (JJ7) who gets it, fair enough as Doddie (JJ6) and Vera (JJ8) both ate the previous flat fish. The nest was rather crowded for a while with all five there. Still raining, and the forecast is for a wet day.
