Guenther has over 30 years of museum experience, ranging from being a museum curator to a museum director. Since 2000 he has served as Chief Curator of the Portland Art Museum (PAM). As Chief Curator he is responsible for initiating and planning all exhibitions and the permanent collection presentations of modern and contemporary art.
