During our first roundtable on May 20th (12:45 to 2pm) on “Reinforcement of IV therapy with Simeox”, the third presentation was made by Dr Karolina Gwoździewicz and Katarzyna Warzeszak (MSc of physiotherapy), from the Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases in Rabka-Zdrój, POLAND.
The Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases in Rabka-Zdrój deals with the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of lung and bronchial diseases. The department of Pneumology and Cystic Fibrosis, headed by professor of medicine Henryk Mazurek, supervises over 500 CF patients annually by providing comprehensive cares including disease progress monitoring, therapies, physiotherapeutic cares, dietary counselling and psychological assistance and research activity (pathogenesis of bronchial and lung diseases and modern treatment methods).
