Intercomp has developed strain gauge strip sensors that can weigh a vehicle up to highway speeds. The sensors are used for a variety of weigh-in-motion (WIM) applications, and installation is completed within a single day. Channels are cut in the pavement, WIM sensors are placed in the channels, grouted in place, and sanded flush to the roadway.
