The International Criminal Court, based in the Hague, the Netherlands has heard final submissions in the case implicating Kenyan lawyer Paul Gicheru. Gicheru is accused of illegally influencing witnesses in the cases against deputy president William Ruto and journalist Joshua Arap sang and therefore blocking the administration of justice to the victims of the 2007/2008 post-election chaos. through his lawyers, however, Gicheru has maintained that he’s innocent adding that the burden of proof lies with the prosecution.
