Black-necked Grebe, Podiceps nigricollis, in winter plumage is a bird that is similar to a few other species, if not seen well, so when one arrived at Cliffe Pools RSPB reserve in Kent, Sotheast England, I took the opportunity to study it and to take some photographs. Black-necked Grebe, also known as Eared Grebe, is a scarce bird in UK and one that is not often seen in large numbers in most parts of the world in which it occurs so it is nice to be able to share good views of this one with other birders in this birding video.
