The completion of the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Solar Park is a tremendous moment for Togo as the country aims to deliver energy access to every citizen by 2030. Funded by Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) under the IRENA/ADFD Project Facility, the solar park is already making a difference to the people of Togo, by providing electricity to nearly 160 000 homes and small businesses, as well as creating hundreds of local jobs during its construction and with its operation.
