How to get the Chillrend one handed weapon at level 1. The weapon is located in Riften. This city can be accessed either on foot or by cart travel (like I did). Once there, the guards will tell you that you have to pay a fee to enter. Pay the fee or use persuasion to have them unlock the town.

Once you enter take a left and head towards the back gate. Sometimes the gate is open during the day, other times it is locked, either way you can jump over the gate so no worries. Head down the back alley until the second gate (expert lock). Pick it, go into the backyard and head up the stairs to the second gate. Jump on the barrel then on to the roof and use the gate to cross over to the other roof.

From hear simply run back and forth, jumping your way up the roof. Once high enough, drop down onto the balcony with the locked expert door. Pick the lock and head inside. There are two bandits inside you can take care of. Once the bandits are dead, go into the lower floor and look for the room with the barred door. Beside it is a cabinet which looks suspicious. Interact and head into the secret level.

Watch out for traps as you make your way through the labrynith. Once you get to the room at the end, there will be a table and a display case with Chillrend inside. Pick the lock and grab the loot. Conrats on getting the best one handed weapon at level one.
