On Friday, October 14, 2022, at approximately 1547 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at Mott Avenue and Beach 22 Street (Mott Avenue/Far Rockaway Subway Station (S/B "A" Line), within the confines of the 101 Precinct/TD#23. Upon arrival, officers observed a 15-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the torso. EMS responded and transported the aided to Cohen's LIJ Hospital where he later pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
