Sekinchan is one hour and a half away from Shah Alam (and Kuala Lumpur). You can go for a day trip or stay overnight.

If you have never seen a paddy field up close, then it's a must-go! For us Malaysians, we probably only go there for Instagrammable photos and good food. LOL.

If you plan to go to the beach, please don't get your hopes up. Pantai Redang IS NOT Pulau Redang. NOT SAME, OKAY? Pantai Redang faces the Straits of Malacca or Selat Melaka, and that usually means muddy water. Not suitable for swimming. But you can play the kite, or enjoy some coconut shake while dipping your toes in the sand!

Also Kuala Selangor is right BEFORE Sekinchan, so if you can, do drop by Kuala Selangor to see the Blue Tears at night!!! Please book with a trusted and reliable tour guide before hand though.
