In this video, we quickly replace the oven heating element in a Hotpoint stove. This is a really easy repair to do and will get your oven back working in no time! This repair will work for almost any oven because they are all built basically the same.

You can usually tell if your oven's bake element has failed. The element will have a spot on it that looks bad. Typically this spot is burnt in half or physically broken apart.

Once you have identified that the element is broken you can easily replace it with a new element following this video.
