Perfect Duck Breast
1 x Duck Breast
Salt and pepper
1. Take one duck breast and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Place skin side down into a cold pan and place over medium-high heat. Starting it in a cold pan allows for the fat to render down nice and slowly.
3. Once the skin is crispy, flip the duck breast over and sear on the other side for 1 minute.
4. Place into a preheated oven at 200°C for 6 to 8 minutes.
5. Allow your duck breast to rest for half the amount of time you cooked it before slicing.
6. Slice it up into nice thick slices and enjoy!
