Visiting surgeon to Aspetar, Dr Gino Kerkhoffs, advises on the current best practice for treatment of osteochondral lesions of the talus.
Dr Kerkhoffs is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Traumatology at the University of Amsterdam's Faculty of Medicine . He studies the development and evaluation of diagnostic and surgical methods for the treatment of joint diseases of the lowest extremity (of the legs), and arthroscopic procedures.
