Dr. Farzan’s laboratory focuses on the entry processes of enveloped viruses and the various ways that the innate and adaptive immune responses inhibit these processes. His team applies these insights toward developing therapeutic strategies that enhance or supplement these immune responses. In this Global COVID Lab Meeting, Dr. Farzan will share his findings on efforts to develop a safe and effective vaccine that triggers antibodies against the novel coronavirus.
