NEED TO CLEAR YOUR SEPTIC DRAIN FIELD LINES?
Discover how to effectively clear and repair your clogged septic drainfield lines using Septic Flow Shock in this instructional video. This method alters the soil's sodium and phosphate levels chemically. However, it's ineffective against BioMat accumulation. In such cases, applying Septic Flow Bacteria Plus is advisable, as it contains bacteria and enzymes that dissolve the buildup.
HOW TO REPAIR AND REVITALIZING A SEPTIC DRAINFIELD?
Septic-Flow Shock™, a powerful, commercial-grade solution, is specifically designed for septic drain field rejuvenation. It targets and dissolves alkaline and phosphate compounds in the septic system and drain field soil. By penetrating deeply, Septic-Flow Shock™ breaks down sodium/phosphate deposits, enhancing the system's flow. For a 1500-gallon tank, use 2-4 gallons of this concentrate. Pumping the tank beforehand is recommended when possible.

THE IMPORTANCE OF REGULAR SEPTIC MAINTENANCE!!
Neglecting monthly and annual septic maintenance is a major factor in drain field issues. Monthly use of high-quality septic bacteria packets, like Septi-Flow Bacteria Plus, and an annual 1-2 gallon dose of Septic-Flow Shock keep your system running smoothly. Contrary to common belief, baker's yeast is ineffective as it doesn't produce the necessary enzymes to decompose toilet paper, grease, and oils.
THE IMPACT OF WATER SOFTENERS ON SEPTIC SYSTEMS
Home water softeners, which add excessive sodium to septic drainfields, can be problematic. To mitigate this, reroute your water softener's discharge to a separate French drain. After this adjustment, pump your septic tank and apply 2 gallons of Septi-Flow Shock to the tank or Distribution Box. Wait two weeks before adding another 2 gallons to the drain field. Improvement in flow should be noticeable in 3-5 weeks. Continue with 2-4 gallons every three months for optimal performance.
HOW TO IDENTIFYING SODIUM BUILDUP IN SEPTIC SYSTEMS?
Determining if sodium buildup is affecting your septic field can be challenging. Sodium naturally accumulates from detergents, soaps, and water softeners. Regularly adding a gallon of Septi-Flow and high-quality bacterial packets annually is a preventative measure. If sodium buildup is suspected, introduce 2 gallons of Septi-Flow via the toilet (post-pumping), wait two weeks, and then add another 2 gallons. This may improve flow, but results can vary depending on the system's condition.
All the best!
