A Boston police officer in full uniform was recorded tumbling down a children’s slide at a newly renovated playground.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu said: “I will definitely check in and make sure the officer is ok. If it looks like there needs to be more signage that this is for children or something, we can do that too.”

Boston Police told Boston 25 that the officer was hurt but used his personal insurance for care and did not charge the city. He is not facing any disciplinary action.
