French Toast is the easiest breakfast recipe, but you can bring it to the next level with this decadent Nutella version! The crispy cinnamon-sugar crust is the perfect match with its creamy Nutella center.
I made it with my homemade brioche bread but you can use your favourite bread.

INGREDIENTS
4 servings:
4 brioche bread slices, thick 1.5inch-3.8cm
2 eggs, room temperature
120 ml (1/2 cup) whole milk, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla paste or extract
12 g (1 tbsp) brown sugar
Nutella
15 g (1 tbsp) unsalted butter for the pan
For Coating:
100 g (1/2 cup) granulated white sugar
3/4 tsp cinnamon powder
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Slice a brioche bread loaf in thick slices (3,8cm-1,5 inch).
2.Using a small serrated knife, cut a 8 cm-3 inch pocket at the bottom of every slice, drive the blade about 70% into the bread and be careful to not completely cut the slice through.
3.Using a piping bag, fill the pocket with Nutella and set aside.
4.In a medium size bowl, beat the eggs with milk, brown sugar and vanilla until well combined and set aside.
5.In a large dish, mix together granulated white sugar and cinnamon.
6.Heat over medium heat a non stick pan with 1/2 tbsp of butter for few minutes.
7.Slightly dip every french toast side into the egg mix and drain the excess.
8.Low the heat to medium-low and cook every side of the french toast until golden brown (about 3-4 minutes).
9.Remove from the pan and roll immediately every side into the cinnamon-sugar mix.
10.Serve immediately.
