Saloni arrives late for the religious ceremony. When she sees the crown meant for the goddess, she berates Tara for being stingy as the crown looks cheap and is light in weight! Saloni says that she has bought a diamond necklace for the goddess but Bhabho asserts that only the elder daughter-in-law will give the jewellery. Saloni retorts that she has bought the necklace with her hard earned money whereas Tara has not! Tara says that she will leave. Brijesh chides the others and allows Saloni to offer the necklace to the goddess. Kukki tells Kaveri that because Tara is barren, even Brijesh had supported Saloni as she will be giving an heir to the family. At home, Narpat and Samar are troubled by Saloni's behaviour. Saloni is all set to leave for a press conference when Bhabho asks her to wait to offer the prayers. Bhabho then goes to apply a black spot near her neck to protect her and her unborn baby from evil eyes but Saloni holds her hand and stops her. Saloni curtly reminds Bhabho not to behave like the village bumpkin Vrinda! On the other hand, Kukki starts subtly instigating Tara against the family. Meanwhile, Bhabho asserts that with Saloni gone, Vrinda will offer the prayers! Meanwhile, in order to relieve the burden in his heart, Nahar voices his concern about Saloni's changed behaviour to Samar. After Nahar leaves, Kaveri suggests that they must do something for Saloni. However, Samar asserts that he will never believe she is capable of thinking well about Saloni! Kaveri vows to create a rift between Saloni and her maternal home!x
