I have a previous FlexBrew that I really love and will keep just in case. However, this unit goes beyond my hopes in ease of use, accurate measurement of water and lack of steam rising in the brew process. With less than a week of use, I can't comment on longevity, but hope it lasts a couple of years at least.

P.S.: My first impression stands - nice unit. Started having trouble with the needle needing to be cleaned. The type of Kcup I was using could well be the cause of that. However, today it started overfilling. I unplugged it and am hoping that clears its brain. If not, I still have the box and could send it back.

I'm not sending this unit back. One brand of Kcup seems to clog the needle more than the others - not buying that brand anymore. The water dispensing situation was resolved when I stopped fiddling and settled on a consistent size cup to brew. I also need to keep track of how many cups I have brewed so it doesn't run dry in the middle of a cup. Adding water then can cause an overflow.
