40만 불법체류 외국인도 코로나19 백신 접종 받는다
Around 400-thousand undocumented immigrants in South Korea will be able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine... without fear of deportation or any other penalties.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Task Force team said Tuesday that the same standards for South Korean nationals will be applied to people in this country illegally... and they will not face any trouble from immigration.
It was recently announced that foreign nationals in South Korea for more than three months could get the shot, but until now, it wasn't clear if undocumented immigrants were included.
Officials say non-Korean nationals who meet the requirements can get the shot starting the first week of April,... when vaccinations for over 65s begin.
