I got my accounting down to a science now in real estate investing.

And one of my favorite hacks is scanned receipts.

I’m Rich Carey. I self manage my 30 rentals, and I don’t have one piece of paper in my business.

All digital.

Every time I get a receipt, I either save it from email or scan it with my phone.

I use a scanner app called scannerpro which automatically uploads it to google drive.

I then save these receipts by month with a standard naming convention.

Example 123 main street - HD - lights 29.00

That’s it.
