Kalamas... A name that emerged in the whispers of guides and scholars of Ngorongoro.
Discovered as an adult in 2014, he was no ordinary lion. His massive build and thick mane that extended down to his belly marked him as a true giant, a colossus straight out of ancient legends. But Kalamas's fate would take an unexpected and unsettling turn.
Kalamas was a nomadic lion, though there were theories that he once had a brother and later a coalition partner, both of whom lost their lives, leaving the titan alone once again.
