Marlon Moraes retired in April, but now 5 months later he's back, but not with the UFC but the the PFL,
and oddly they're going to match him up with another former UFC fighter who is making his debut in the PFL,
Shane Burgos in a featherweight matchup. So this is very strange because Moraes a bantmaweight is moving up to
take on a gigantic featherweight in Burgos, who talked about moving up to lighweight in the past. So Moraes
coming out of retirement after 4 straight KO losses and giving up a lot of size and taking on Burgos, who's on a
roll right now, is a very unusual fight to make.
This fight will likely take place on November 25th. It's Burgos' PFL debut, but for Moraes is a homecoming him, even though it
could be a disasterous one for him. Marlon is one of the greatest fighters in the organization's history. When they called the WSOF,
he was undefeated there, he had 11 fights, 11 wins, and he won and defended the bantamweight title 5 times.
