Six months ago, we rescued Mark, the last restaurant bear in Albania 🐻🎉
Since then, he's made great progress!
Settling in at our BEAR SANCTUARY Arbesbach was challenging for him, as Mark had lived in a tiny concrete pen for 20 years 💔
He knew neither the smell of trees 🌳 nor the coziness of straw, nor the sight of snow ❄️
The nature around him with all its smells and sounds was overwhelming. But we gave Mark the time 🕔 he needed.
After spending weeks in his den observing everything 👀 and resting 💤, Mark finally found the courage to leave his safe haven.
Since then, there's been no holding back!
