The Born Primitive Savage 1 is the "new kid on the block" in the context of cross-training shoes built for CrossFit and lifting.
This model had a lot of hype behind it, especially as a more "minimalist" or "traditional" training shoe built for CrossFit-focused training. To be honest, this shoe reminds me of models like the Reebok Nano 2.0.

Overall, I'm a fan of the Born Primitive Savage 1 and I think it's a good first pass for Born Primitive in the world of training shoes.
This shoe's simplistic construction took me back to some of the older models that I really resonate with and I like their wider fit.
