Short Bumper from FOX Kids Programming Block with the announcer saying “We’ll Be Right Back”. This bumper aired between commercial breaks during an episode of X-Men as part of the FOX Kids Weekday Afternoon Block that aired Wednesday September 7,1994 on then FOX Affiliate KDAF FOX 33 in Dallas/Fort Texas. KDAF would switch its affiliation to The WB on July 5,1995 three days after KDFW 4 ended their affiliation with CBS and independent KTVT taking the CBS Affiliation on July 2,1995. Currently KDAF has The CW Affiliation and is now branded as CW 33. Shoutout to Channel 37 for the footage since it came from a commercial break from FOX Kids Programming Block September 7,1994 on FOX 33.
*This was during the last months of KDAF with The FOX Affiliation since the network’s launch October 1986, FOX Television Stations would sell KDAF to Renaissance Communications in November 1994 shortly after the announcement that KDFW 4 would end its longtime affiliation with CBS and switch to FOX shortly after the announcement that New World Communications signed an affiliation deal with Fox Broadcasting where its stations would end their affiliation with the big three (ABC,CBS and NBC) switching to FOX. KDAF would take The WB Affiliation (which KTVT was originally to become a Charter WB Affiliate before the announcement of the big switch) but until KDFW’s contract with CBS expired in July 1995, then independent KXTX 39 (now Telemundo affiliate since 2002) carried The WB Affiliation temporarily. KDAF would take The WB Affiliation on July 5,1995 three days after KDFW ended their affiliation with CBS and Switched to FOX the same day independent KTVT because a CBS Affiliate. KDAF would keep FOX Kids Programming since KDFW turned it down, in 1997 KDAF became a Tribune Broadcasting owned station shortly after Renaissance sold their company to Tribune. Fox Kids programming would move to independent (now MyNetworkTV affiliate) KDFI 27 in the Fall 1997 Season.
