We are taking down swarms two and three that were caught this year at John and Amy's farm. We're leaving swarm #2 on the farm, having placed one of our Layens horizontal hives near the base of the tree where the swarm box was hung. Swarm #3 came home with us to Apex, and we moved the colony into their new home a few days later. We haven't had a chance to get this new insulated horizontal hive painted yet, so we're calling it the White Hive.
