The BJP National General Secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh has been called to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLA poaching case on November 21 or he would be detained. This follows the Telangana High Court's rejection of the BJP's request to have the SIT investigating the case become independent and transfer the MLA poaching case to the CBI on Tuesday. The court also decided that a judge would oversee the case's inquiry. The SIT has also been requested by the court to provide a report on the investigation's status by November 29. Notably, the Telangana government established the SIT to look into the case on November 9. Hyderabad Police Commissioner is in charge of the SIT, which contains six police officers. It should be noted that on the evening of October 26, when they were allegedly trying to entice four TRS MLAs with promises of money, Ramachandra Bharati, also known as Satish Sharma, Simhayaji, and Aand Nandakumar, were apprehended by the Cyberabad police from a farmhouse in Moinabad, close to Hyderabad.
