A generalised look at how the flex on a driver (and irons) behaves and helps / hinders your golf ball flight

Softer Flexes:
Tend to have higher launch and close the face HIGH LEFT

Stiffer Flexes:
Tend to reduce loft and leave the face more open LOW RIGHT

My favourite combination is a HIGH LOFT HEAD combined with a HEAVY STIFF SHAFT, however lighter shafts can be swung faster - custom fitting is key
