I will show you how you can make a french Christmas dessert called Bûche de Noël at home. This is a very easy roulade with a cocoa sponge, cream chantilly, and buttercream. I do it at home almost every Christmas so I totally recommend you to try it, have fun guys.
Sponge
- 6 eggs
- 60g plain flour
- 25g of cocoa powder
- 150g sugar
- pinch of salt
Cream chantilly
- 300g of heavy cream
- 50g of sugar
- vanilla
- Cinnamon and star anise powder by taste
- 2tsp of gelatine powder (optional)
Buttercream
- 115g of butter
- 300g of sugar
- 35g of cocoa powder
- 50g of heavy cream
- pinch of salt
