Government has announced it’s roadshow for consultations on the upcoming land conference in October. The Landless Peoples Movement have confirmed that they have not received an invitation to the conference which they feel will merely be an election ploy.
In a telephonic dialogue, the Affirmative Repositioning’s confirmed that they have been invited by Government to participate in the upcoming land conference, saying that the movement will use the opportunity constructively, for the benefit of the country.
The official opposition, the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) says it will host its very own land conference soon to establish a stance on the land issue.
