INGREDIENTS
Milk - 4 cup
Water - 3/4 th cup
Saffron - few strands
Milk - 3-4 tbsp (For saffron milk)
Sugar - 2-3 tbsp
Cardamom pwd - Pinch
Kesar flavour Essence - 1/4 th tsp (optional)
Slurry
Milk powder - 2-3 tbsp
Cornflour - 1 tbsp
Water - 7-8 tbsp
RECIPE
1. In a heavy bottom vessel add 4 cups of milk along with 3/4 th cup of water give it a boil.
2. In a bowl, add some saffron strands and 4 tbsp of hot milk inorder to infuse the milk with saffron flavour.
3. Add saffron infused milk in boiling milk. Stir well.
4. Then add 2-3 tbsp of sugar & pinch of cardamom pwd. Stir well.
5. For making slurry, in a bowl add 2-3 tbsp of milk pwd,1 tbsp of cornflour & 7-8 tbsp of water. Mix well till the mixture is lump free.
6. Add this slurry mix in boiling milk & stir vigorously.
7. Keep boiling milk upto desire consistency & then transfer it to a bottle & refrigerate for minimum 5-6 hrs & Serve !!
