The lateral femoral cutaneous nerve is a sensory branch of the lumbar plexus arising from the posterior divisions of the anterior rami of L2 and L3 spinal nerves. Compression of this nerve can result in numbness, tingling, pain or a burning sensation felt in the outer thigh.
When you squeeze your midsection, it forces internal organs like the liver and kidneys into unnatural positions. This can can affect blood flow to these organs.
It can even lead to inflammation or a buildup of fluid in the lungs.
