On Tuesday, the BJP approached the BDO in Berhampore. Led by BJP Berhampore Organizational District President Shakharav Sarkar, a group of BJP workers visited the BDO office and met with block administrative officials. The BJP claimed they are raising concerns over irregularities in the Awas Yojana in the Berhampore block. The BJP president stated that they have submitted a memorandum regarding the housing complaints. A long list of individuals eligible for houses but who have yet to receive one was handed over to the BDO.
