I did this video some time ago to show some good spots for items. A lot of the places I showed recommended the Jupiter + Unicorn DSS combo while you probably won't have the Unicorn card 'cause you need to go to the Battle Arena and get it from a White Armor (and you're probably gonna need some item farming to get through). If you're playing as Magician (FIREBALL) then you will have all the DSS cards and you can use the combo whenever you please.
Since I was playing a normal save and was way too weak to go and get the card from the Battle Arena I had to cheat a little to show you how the combo would help you farm for stuff.
I'll list some enemies that are in large quantities, easy to kill and have useful loot.
Restoring MP:
Brain Float: Mind Restore
Ectoplasm: Mind Restore
Gremlin: Mind Restore
Mudman: Mind Restore
Myconid: Mind High
Specter: Mind Restore, Mind High
Spirit: Mind Restore
Wight: Mind High
Restoring Hearts:
Bat: Heart
Gargoyle: Heart High
Ghoul: Heart High
Mummy: Heart
Restoring HP:
Myconid: Potion
Zombie: Potion
Brain Floats are probably the best source for Mind Restores since they respawn so quickly and give 10 EXP each so you might get even level if you have enough patience.
If you're trying to get items from one of the sources that doesn't need Jupiter + Unicorn to make it easy you could try activating Venus + Mandragora since that combo grants you +25% to your Luck (LCK) stat. You could also try getting two Luck Rings and equipping them. One Luck Ring gives you +50 Luck (LCK), so two obviously give +100. Zombie Thief is the only enemy that drops Luck Rings and they can be found in a couple of places, for example at the room near the Bat spawn I showed in the video.
By the way, around the end of the video where I said that the Toy Ring and the Bear Ring are only dropped by the Skeleton Medalist, I was talking outta my ass since Evil Pillars drop Toy Rings too.
Also when I mention that LV 55 and above characters have little to no MP consumption when using Jupiter + Unicorn, it depends on what equipment you use. If you use equipment that fortifies your Intelligence (INT) then your MP regeneration will be faster and might outdo the MP cost of the spell.
I didn't use the original audio in the videos because I sped up some parts and the speed up didn't affect the sound, which caused it to desync, so I muted it and replaced it with random tracks.
